Red Nose Day 2016
Benchmark Systems, An AntWorks Company
Red Nose Day 2016: Laugh. Give. Save a kid.
Would you like to be part of a mission to help kids who need our help the most? Provide food for the hungry? Medication for the sick? Clean water to those without access? Would you like to be a part of a BILLION dollar initiative to put a smile on the face of kids in the United States and around the world? If so, all it takes is $1 and a Red Nose!
Benchmark Systems, an AntWorks company, will be a part of Red Nose Day 2016 on Thursday, May 26th, and we encourage your office to do the same! All you need to do is visit your local Walgreens, give them at least $1 (more if you’d like), and get your very own Red Nose. There are also many other ways you can be a part of this amazing event. Please review the attachment here or visit RedNoseDay.org to learn how! Once you and everyone in your office has their Red Nose, snap a picture of everyone and email it to us at CustomerSupport@benchmark-systems.com so we can post it, along with our own Benchmark Red Nose pictures, to our Benchmark Systems Facebook, Twitter, and other social media pages. Or post it to your own social media account(s) and tag Benchmark Systems (Facebook) or @BenchmarkSys (Twitter) so we can see the fun you all are having for such a great cause! And don’t forget to use the hashtag, #RedNoseDay, on all your posts so we can help trend this around the world! Later that night, you’ll want to tune it to NBC, 9-11PM ET, to watch as the biggest stars in entertainment come together for a night of fun and laughs all in the name of an awesome cause.
Red Nose Day is a special day to have fun, come together, and make a difference for kids. This initiative is on a mission to fight kids poverty and has raised over $1 BILLION globally in the last 25 years. In 2015 alone, the campaign raised $23 million. This year, YOU can help to raise even more
Half of the money will support programs right here in America. The other half will support programs in some of the poorest communities in Latin America, Africa, and Asia. Money raised helps to change the lives of children and young people in need through projects to keep them safe, healthy and educated.
Every dollar helps! You probably hear that a lot, but what does it mean? These are some of the incredible ways your money will help kids in need:
In the U.S.:
$1.00: A meal for a child living in a homeless shelter.
$5.00: Medical supplies for a doctor’s visit at a mobile clinic.
$7.00: Books, supplies and activities to help a child keep reading skills sharp during the summer.
$35.00: An eye exam and glasses for a child in need.
$5.00: Antibiotics to treat a child with pneumonia.
$4.00: An anti-malarial net to protect a mother and her baby.
$50.00: Provides a baby with vaccinations for 6 diseases, nutritional supplements and check-ups.
